The Best Dessert Spots in Atlanta!

The Best Dessert Spots in Atlanta!

Big Softie (SummerHill): Pictured above. This new ice cream shop is family owned, uses local ingredients and makes their waffle cones in house! I recommend having your ice cream dipped – choose from dark chocolate, toasted white chocolate or strawberry flavors!

Jeni’s Ice Cream: With locations at Avalon, Krog Street Market, Westside Provisions, Decatur Square and (soon to be) Buckhead, Jeni’s is always within reach! Most stores are open until 11pm, so you can get your late night Jeni’s fix!

Butter & Cream (Decatur and the Beltline): Butter & Cream’s beltline location is brand new and super cute! My go-to order is the Dark Chocolate Sorbet! The menu also offers sundaes and ice cream cookie sandwiches!

Sweet Spot (Doraville): The Ice Cream Bowl w/ the Bubble Waffle is the perfectly delicious and instagramable dessert of your dreams! Pick the ice cream flavor, fruits, toppings, drizzle and dig in!

Frosty Caboose (Chamblee): Frosty Caboose is one of the most unique dessert spots here in Atlanta. It is located at the train watching capital of Atlanta, right on the tracks! This is a great places to take little kiddos because they are able to climb on deck and check out the train for themselves! Dessert and a show!

Batter Cookie Dough (Ponce City Market): Admit it, we all used to eat the dough while making cookies when we were younger (or still do). The gooey, sugary batter is just too good to resist! Batter Cookie Dough fell from the heavens and serves cookie dough that is safe to eat! Flavors are available in Salted Carmel, Peanut Butter, Red Velvet & many more – add a variety of toppings and enjoy! They also offer gluten free and dairy free options.

Sweet Charlies (Buckhead): Hand rolled ice cream anyone?! This ice cream is so fun to watch being made and melts in your mouth!

Crave Pie Studios (Downtown Duluth): Every pie has a perfectly buttery crust and each filling is amazing! Crave Pie has handheld pies as well as full sizes.

CheeseCaked (Buckhead area): Holy Moly! The Milkshakes at Cheesecaked are MASSIVE. Each one is topped with tons of different candy and sprinkles to make this beautiful creation that is guaranteed to give you a sugar rush!

Steel City Pops (Decatur): Dredge, Drip, Drizzle and Dust your pop with a variety of scrumptious toppings!

Matcha Cafe Maiko (Buford Highway): I recommend the “Golden Shogun” – a Matcha soft serve ice cream topped with edible 23.75K gold!

Mango Mango (Doraville): If you are in the mood for a lighter dessert – this is your spot! The menu features many different desserts with mangos straight from Brazil! I recommend getting a crepe or one of the traditional Asian desserts on the menu – everything tastes super fresh and light!

Amorino Gelato (Shops at Buckhead, Lenox Square Mall): This gelato looks like a work of art! The ice cream in a cone is designed to look like a flower! Don’t forget to add on a macaroon on top!

Sweet Stack (Sweet Auburn Historic District): Sweet Stack offers fun ice cream flavors like the Cookie Monster (cookie dough ice cream w/ oreos and blue frosting), Cereal Milk (Vanilla ice cream w/ fruit loops), and Amber Rose (cotton candy ice cream w/ red and blue pop rocks)! Another fun item on the menu is the ice cream doughnut sandwich – two scoops of ice cream in between two donuts!

Enjoy these tasty treats around Atlanta!
