Bully Boy is located on the Beltline (right next to Two Urban Licks) and the restaurant atmosphere is one of my favorites that I’ve been to in Atlanta! It basically feels like you are dining in a giant shipping container with beautiful large windows.
The menu is family style and the food is served as it is ready, so you may get one plate at a time or a few at once! I highly recommend the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Kung Pao Broccoli! Each vegetable dish was packed with amazing flavors!
The Mushroom Empanadas were amazing and the garlic aioli was the perfect touch!
Anytime there is calamari on the menu it is a must order for me! This calamari came with a delicious sweet sauce that paired with the salty, fried calamari beautifully! Also, this “oysters” sign above the bar is the perfect photo op! I didn’t try any oysters this time, but Billy Boy offers a variety of different oyster options on the menu.
The star of the show was the Blue Crab Fried Rice! It was served with an omelet on top that folded over on top of the whole dish!
I can’t go out to eat without at least peaking at the dessert menu, and the second I saw this apple funnel cake on the menu I knew I needed to indulge in it! This dessert did not disappoint – the apple butter, malted ice cream and caramel married togeher beautifully for the perfect ending to my visit at Bully Boy!
