My Birthday is today and one of the most frequent questions I get asked is where to celebrate a birthday in Atlanta! I have compiled a list of my favorite spots to celebrate and broke them out by price. Even though this is a birthday dinner post, these spots are also great if you have friends/family in town or if you are celebrating something special!
Nuevo Loredo ($)
Nuevo Loredo is the perfect spot to go with a large group! I picture going here before a night out on the town, or for a fun relaxed dinner! Nuevo Loredo is an Atlanta classic, and if you haven’t tasted their Cadillac Margarita Grande or authentic Mexican cuisine this is your sign to go!
Antico Pizza ($)
Antico Pizza has locations in West Midtown and at the Battery! They have amazing wood-fired pizza. My personal favorite is the Lasagna. Antico is great for large parties because of the casual order at the counter environment!
New Realm ($)
I love New Realm’s location on the Beltline because they have a huge outdoor patio. The food is great, and the drinks are even better! After dinner, head up to their rooftop bar for great skyline views!
Velvet Taco ($)
A true crowd pleaser even for those who don’t like tacos (GASP, those people exist?!). My go-to order is the buffalo chicken taco & the ranch water. Located in both Buckhead and the newly opened West Midtown, both Velvet Taco locations are premium for a night out!
Iron Hill ($)
Iron Hill Brewery is one of my favorite new spots in Buckhead. There is ample parking in the garage (a huge plus) and they have a huge interior as well as a nice patio! The appetizers are delicious and perfect for sharing! Do not skip on the Egg Roll Sampler and a flight of beer!
Located on the Beltline, Hawkers has a killer brunch menu and $2 mimosas and glasses of rosè! They also have an amazingly instagrammable cocktail menu. Birthday brunch?! I’m IN!
Yebo Beach Haus ($$)
Yebo has an amazing courtyard, as well as a beautifully decorated interior! The restaurant decor and menu changes with the seasons. It is a Beach Haus in the summer and switches over to the Ski Haus in the winter with a seasonal menu to match the vibe!
I think I could down an unlimited amount of Oku’s Sugar & Spice martinis because they are THAT good! I love their sushi rolls, and they are great for sharing or ordering individually! They also have a first come, first serve rooftop with skyline views.
Seven Lamps ($$)
Seven Lamps has some of the best food I’ve ever had (no exaggeration). I’ve been for both brunch & dinner and am fully obsessed with their menu! The cocktails are also on point!
Grana serves delicious pasta, pizza and meatball flights! Yes, you read that correctly – an actual flight of meatballs. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and perfect for a more upscale dinner vibe without the upscale price! Grana also has a rooftop that is first come first serve.
This Mexican-Asian fusion restaurant has something for everyone on the menu! From nachos, to ramen they really have it all. Plus, their patio is super fun and spacious so its perfect for a large party.
Chido and Padres ($$)
Located in the heart of Buckhead, Chido and Padres is serving up refreshing cocktails and the best vibes! Their Mexican cuisine has a unique twist and their patio details are perfectly instagrammable.
This restaurant truly has my heart! Delbar serves middle eastern food, unique cocktails and the best hummus I’ve ever had.
Upscale sushi! I spent my birthday here two years ago and it was amazing! Make sure you call ahead and reserve the Chocolate Kyu – a chocolate sphere, filled with deliciousness and served with a hammer for breaking. They only make 12 per night!
Forza Storico ($$$)
If you’ve asked me for a dinner recommendation recently, I have most definitely referred you to Forza Storico. Forza has an amazing (and strongggg) cocktail menu, fresh authentic pasta, and squash blossoms (don’t ask questions – just order them).
The Betty ($$$)
The Betty is New American Supper Club (basically it’s both delicious and pricey – but very worth it). It is located at the Kimpton Sylvan hotel so after dinner you can head to the Willow Bar or St Julep for a drink (or two, it is your birthday after-all!).
Amore e Amore ($$$)
The owners of Illocalino have recently opened Amore e Amore, and if you loved Illocalino you will love this just as much! The interior decorations give this authentic Italian restaurant a fun vibe!
The Optimist ($$$)
The Optimist is for the seafood lover! They serve oysters, octopus and more!
Tiny Lous ($$$)
Get the Earl Grey Crepe cake. That is all.
